What do you recommend to see the Old Port of Montreal?

Can you walk and sunset of good pictures in Puerto Viejo, or would you recommend a cruise boat? All suggestions are appreciated. I also thought the Maxim Knight (4 nights at the crossroads of time), but do not know what is available for seats outside on the cruise to take pictures. I want photos of the municipality and the market. I was in Montreal before and I love it. I saw San Jose, Notre-Dame, Sainte-Catherine Street, Crescent Street to name a few. I is not really seen the Old Port.

You should go on top of the skyscrapers of Place Ville-Marie (the shape resembles a giant cross) at the corner of University and Rene-Levesque. The top floor is a club restaurant with stunning views of the city to take pictures. Only http://www.promoclub737.com/ have to write "Place Ville-Marie, Montreal, Quebec" in Google Maps (maps.google.com) and you can see the sky. You can see the roof area above living room.
