Did you go to Savannah , GA. after reading the true story- “Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil”?

If so – did you go to Bonaventure Cemetery ; “The Book Store “; Mercer House , or any of the other points of interest from the book ? What was your impression , and did you go there already knowing the book ( by John Berendt ) had a sort of cult following of people from all over the world ?
Also -did you read Lady Chablet’s book ?
If I remember right , she left Savannah and got a job in a big nightclub somewhere .
